Britannia Roofing Ltd · Roofing with care
Small extensions. A clear plan from the start.
Planning more space at home? Britannia Roofing undertakes small extension work in Cheltenham, Evesham and the Cotswolds. We discuss your plans, the building work needed and the roof details, then set out the agreed scope in writing.

Your next step
Tell us about
your project.
A leak to fix or a project to plan? Start with your postcode, a callback number and a short description. We will contact you to discuss the work and what is needed for a written quotation.
Tell us about your proposed dormer or extension and any drawings already prepared. The agreed scope will be set out in your quotation.
For a time-sensitive problem, call us to discuss it. A visit is only booked once we have confirmed it with you.
Tell us how you want to use the space
Start with your property postcode, the approximate size and what you want the extension to provide. Share any drawings and photographs of where it will join the house. Access, neighbouring boundaries and the existing building all affect the practical next steps.
Agree the building work as well as the roof
An extension involves more than a roof covering. The quotation should identify foundations, drainage, walls, structural openings and the roof, with any windows, doors and internal work clearly included or excluded. We discuss the elements we are undertaking so you can compare the scope properly.
Connect the new roof to the existing house
Flat or pitched, the new roof needs suitable support, insulation, drainage and weatherproof junctions with the house. We discuss the proposed covering, rooflights where included, and the surrounding fascias and gutters. The details follow the agreed design rather than a standard package.
Design and approvals before the build
Small does not automatically mean permission-free. Check the proposal with your local planning authority and establish the building-control route separately. Drawings and structural design may be needed. Tell us if the property is listed, lies in a conservation area or has particular restrictions before the scope is finalised.
Plan access, finishes and the written quotation
Discuss scaffold and material access, waste removal and how the work affects your use of the house. The quote should make clear whether plastering, decorating, electrics and plumbing are included or arranged separately. We explain allowances and discuss additional work if opening up reveals something unexpected.

Can you quote when I only have an initial idea?
We can start a conversation from your postcode, approximate dimensions and photographs. A firm quotation may need a site assessment, drawings and further design information so the work can be defined.
Can my extension have a flat roof?
A flat roof may suit the proposed design. We can discuss EPDM rubber or GRP fibreglass roofing, with the deck, insulation, drainage and junctions considered together. Suitability depends on the project specification.
Is an extension roof replacement the same as a new extension?
No. Renewing the roof of an existing extension is a different scope from building new space. Tell us which you need so the quotation covers the right work.
Do you offer a fixed price per square metre?
We prepare a quotation for the agreed work. Foundations, access, structural alterations, roof design and the level of finishing can change the cost substantially, so size alone is not enough to confirm a price.
