Slate and tile roof repairs and reroofing.
From a natural slate roof to a traditional clay or concrete tile covering, we help you choose work that suits your home. Our service includes repairs, new installations and renewal of existing pitched roofs. We source and fit materials as part of agreed roofing work; we do not sell loose tiles or slates for collection.

Understand the covering you have
We inspect the slates or tiles and the details around them. An isolated damaged tile and a roof with widespread deterioration need different approaches. We explain the condition we can see and identify where further investigation is needed.
Materials suited to the property
We discuss the appearance and suitability of the proposed slate or tile, including the roof shape and existing details. Your quotation identifies the covering and the parts of the roof included, so you can compare the proposal clearly.
Complete the roof details
Eaves, ridges, hips, valleys, abutments and ventilation all form part of the discussion where relevant. We also explain scaffold access, waste removal and how any additional defects uncovered will be agreed with you.
Related guidance: slate and tile repairs; complete reroofing.
Do you repair both slate and tiled roofs?
Yes. We repair natural and manufactured slate coverings and clay or concrete tiled roofs, subject to the condition and suitability of the existing roof.
Can you replace just the broken slates or tiles?
Often, if the surrounding covering and fixings remain sound. We inspect the area to understand why pieces have moved or broken before recommending a local repair.
Can sound slates or tiles be reused?
Where their condition and the planned work allow, reuse can be included. We explain the expected allowance and any need for additional matching material.
Can I change from tiles to slate?
Send us details of the current roof and the finish you would like. A change of covering needs an assessment of the roof and any project requirements before a specification can be confirmed.
How much does it cost to fix a slate roof leak in Cheltenham or Evesham?
The price depends on the source of the leak, the slates and fixings affected, roof height and safe access. A few missing slates can involve different work from a leaking valley or chimney junction. Send your postcode and safe photographs; we assess the roof and provide a written quotation for the agreed scope.
Do you sell roof tiles or slates on their own?
No. Britannia Roofing is a roofing contractor. We repair and install roofs, with materials included in the agreed work. We do not operate a roofing-materials shop or offer supply-only tile and slate sales.
